My plan B i on hold for a while, may be moving out of the country and will look to set up there.
If I stay in this country then need to find a suitable business premises.
and it's not IT of course

The limo driver at BA was ex IT. I had a good chat with him thanks to a BA flight arriving two hours late at Heathrow ( 1am) (Easyjet wouldn’t have facilitated that!)Originally posted by Jeebo72 View PostStayed at a B&B on the Dorset coast this summer. Very nice place. The couple were both IT consultants who where originally in London who sold up to buy the B&B. They operated at 3/4 full (cos they didn't want to over work) for 8 months of the year, taking the rest off... sounded very nice.
A few B&Bs the same. I have two plan Bs on the go, both non IT but I can't say what because it is a niche market.

Congrats.
Are you able to share details of the concerns you sold, if not the current one?

Did plan b, sold it just over a year ago as a business for a wedge of cash.
Planning plan c, but really struggling this time to come up with a viable business.

Was there something in the news recently that inspired you?Originally posted by Clippy View PostI know some on here already have Plan B's but, I believe, most of those are also in IT.
We regularly sound the death knell for UK IT - so has anyone considered setting up a non-IT Plan B?
After several months on the bench am seriously considering it.

I have plans B and C running alongside my plan A, they aren't big revenue streams but might provide a safety net if I get fed up with this malarky.

I would love to set up a non-IT plan B, but IT is the only thing I'm any good at !Originally posted by Clippy View PostI know some on here already have Plan B's but, I believe, most of those are also in IT.

I always fancied being a postie, but I suspect that there are far fewer scantily clad hot lonely housewives in the real world than in my imagination
