    You may as well go to the interview - you might have the chance to impress even more and increase the rate.

    Maybe the agent could reduce their margin a shade as well? Might be worth considering once you have got the role.

    I had a similar thing the other week - cut the rate because I'm too expensive, and then they worried that I might leave early because they weren't paying enough. Idiots.

    Apparantly, incredibly, the hiring manager "realised" he'd made a mistake with the budget allocated for the role. Fancy that.

    Ha ha are you drinking? Sounded a bit manic, that. I did email the other agent today actually and said I was still up for the role, he said he will contact his client as they did like my CV. So who knows, cross your fingers!

    Nah, and it's never something I want to broach before the start of a role, looks bad I think. Given that they know I'm a single mother they will assume the worst I expect. Fluff them, I will get something else soon hopefully.
