I don't drink coffee (or tea) at all except when I'm on holiday. I always get a couple of days of headaches when I come back as my system gets used to no caffeine again.

I have way too much coffee, although I steer clear of it after 4pm
Typically I'll have 6-10 cups in a day, although at the moment it could be down to 5

I have a month off it once a year. The first week is hell with the headaches.

Do you get headaches at the weekend, if you don't get coffee soon enough?

Caffeine?
Is anyone else here addicted to caffeine?
I can't get through the day without it! First thing I do when I get into work in the morning is brew up (instant coffee if I'm at work, filter coffee if I'm at home). Then again, late morning I have another brew. Then around mid-afteroon it's time for my third brew of the day. Finally, when I get home I usually make some filter coffee. Depending on how stressed or lacking in self discipline I am, I might brew up for the fifth time mid-evening. Is this excessive?
I tend to think I really ought to limit myself to a maximum of three brews per day; morning, afternoon & evening. Two per day would be even better but I don't think I could get by like that.
I don't smoke, and I've been teetotal since 1st Jan 2009 (that's another story!). However, caffeine seems to be the one vice I just can't kick!
Interested to hear your views on this.
Cheers.
