I keep a little book by the bed and sometimes write them down. Problem is, either I can't read what I've written or it makes no sense at all, like "Grey pawns underneath" or some such.

I thought of something really funny and clever to post while I was lying in bed last night. Then I went to sleep.
It nearly came back to me this morning, but went again.
It was definitely very clever AND very funny. I knew I should have got up and written it down.
