Agreed. Great for taking on trips and when working away from home.

Gotta pop that in the 80s thread as well...

Nivermind defo, followed by ok computer, but those mentioned from massive attack, orb etc are all excellent. And who thought the 90s would be remembered for 2 unlimited ... I remember the shell suit generation were really worried about that...

It lasted a good few years until it just sat around collecting dust. Then around 2006 I found it in the attic.... it still worked and I flogged it and the rest of the massive HiFi system that went with it, on ebay

Massive Attack, Blue Lines or Mezzanine (I can't decide which is better - Mezzanine has more top tracks, but Blue Lines has Unfinished Sympathy which would win song of the decade for any right minded person).

    Other contenders:
    Radiohead, Ok Computer
    Pulp, Different Class
    Orbital, In Sides
    The Chemical Brothers, Surrender

Hard to pick just one from the decade.

    Early 90's :

The Orb - The Orbs Adventures Boyond the Ultraworld.
    Primal Scream - Screamadelica

    Mid 90's :

    Pulp - Different Class
    Jeff Buckley - Grace

    Later 90's :

Bob Dylan - Time Out of Mind.
    Radiohead - OK Computer.

It's funny how Radiohead's OK Computer was routinely voted Best Album Ever in polls for several years after it was released, and now we've got to page 3 of just a 90s thread and it hasn't even been mentioned yet.

My choice would probably be Dream Of 100 Nations by Transglobal Underground, but there are quite a few to choose from, it has to be said.
