    Depression cab be one of the effects of ceoliac disease or a gluten intolerance. Pasta is basically flour and eggs so eating it frequently over a preiod of time could well have an effect on your mental state.

    I can see that - can't be arsed cooking, reach for instant (processed) food.

    Earlier this year I definitely noticed a link between eating lots of spaghetti and feeling depressed for no particular reason, so I've cut right back on the stuff.
