Didn't they significantly up the price of using land fill sites some years ago? It's why the cost of renting a skip shot up, if I remember correctly.

Think you'll find you need a license to collect waste ie you need to give the householder a proper 'refuse collection' ticket which the council can demand to see to prove waste isnt being fly tipped and secondly, you need a license to take the waste to the relevant collection disposal site.
Thats going to cost tens if not a hundred thousand quid.
Youll also have trouble getting money off people. How many people will be in the homes at time of collection to hand over the fee? Not many. Do it after hours? Going to be expensive as whoever collects is going to want unsocial hours payments.
DD? The bastards would pull the DD after a few collections.
Sorry to piss on yer chips but I think its a non runner.

I have heard that they sometimes go round the same hiouses they stole from asking if anyone wants to by a bin.Originally posted by ctdctd View PostIn sunny Dunstable, there have been some reports of black bins being stolen.
The Chavs can, presumably, buy an extra black bin for a few squid down the pub and then have two to put out for the fortnightly collection.

Its worth marking your bins with house number/road.

There are good Drs/Nurses etc but they are private and not free.Originally posted by Diestl View PostGreat idea, I have a similar one. You know how the UK has a national health service, where its free for everyone? The downside is the quality is poor and the waiting lists are long.
Why not build some hospitals hire good Drs/Nurses etc and charge for health care! What does the panel think?
In Belgium I pay €22.50 to visit my doctor as a private patient and the State reimburses €18.00.
We are all private patients
No state insurance no reimbursement. Illegal immigrants have to go to the out patient dept at certain hospitals only for emergency treatment.
This is why Illegal immigrants choose the UK
To answer the first question.
My rubbish is collected twice a week.Last edited by Brussels Slumdog; 27 October 2009, 11:06.

1, Due Diligence:
a, speak to council ask them if you need any particular license to 'operate' a refuse lorry and collect rubbish and take it to the 'waste processing center'
b, double check with a lawyer
c, talk to waste processing center about how much it costs to tip 26tons of household waste
d, do the maths and calculate how much to charge per bin
e, check the cost of the lorries, here's some starting at 3 grand...
http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk...=autotrader-uk
f, see if anyone else in your area is offering such a service, what are they charging etc ? is there anywhere round here without such service where you can fill the gap
2, Assuming successful due diligence
a, buy the lorry
b, adverts in the paper local media
c, phone line and website
d, paint the lorry with the company livery, instead of writing like ice cream vans write stop me and buy one, write, stop me and I'll take your bin for a fiver
e, leaflet drops etc
f, start driving round collecting the bins
sorteeed
Milan.
