120/78 just there. Been running again this week after 5 months off, 9.5 miles this morning. Got blisters on my nips now, they were close to looking like a couple of burst skull crushers at the end.

We have one of those machines at home as Frau D. has high blood pressure who now has to take a tiny pill each day although the doctor said that if she is coming out on the wazz with me then not to bother.
Wow, they cycled from Land's End to John O'Groats using the energy equivalent of only 174 Mars bars.

I had a blood pressure reading of 120/77 recently. Pretty awesome.
I played football the night before, and had the reading taken at 9:30 after a nights rest. (I am 32)

Then a month later, after some work related issues it was 160/90.

Stress is a major contributer to BP, and I think any doc would agree it is the bottom figure that is important.

At 29, I would say, get fit. Get some trackies on and jog round the local duck pond, or go for a cycle.

I see nothing to worry about at 29, IF, you start taking some exercise and start eating healthily.

BP problems tend to manifest in your fourties. Relax, and take your body out for a spin, while you still can.

I have this problem too. You should see a specialist because you don't know how long your BP has been that high. 140/97 for a few weeks is not a problem, but if its that high for ten years it can be a problem for your heart, so you need to get your heart checked out.

If BP is high for a long time, the heart can build up more muscle. That means it cannot constrict aswell as it should. You don't want that.

Yes. Worry about it being in their interests to make their customers think they have health issues that they can help with by taking your money off you.
