You know I've not had a cold since I took to twice daily training rides on my bicycle. It was like -3 this morning, and I feel real good.

I have a theory that colds aren't just a virus, but a virus working on an immune system weakened by a lack of vitamin D and a few other knock on effects. That is why colds and flu don't follow the normal epidemiological patterns, but I feel follow more closely day lengths.

Many years ago a wise old Shaman told me that when men get struck down with illness the best cure it is for it to be sucked out by their woman. A bit like a snake bite, but you need to suck the right part.

Mrs PRC claims it's all mumbo jumbo and refuses to try.
