    Unless you have a 'primatic' cylinder in which case it would be dangerous to put inhibitor in the system.

    bleeding radiator

    i would suggest bleeding the radiators starting from the nearest one to the boiler and putting some inhibitor in as well.

    Bleeding radiators is that a cockney euphemism or do they have periods?

    That is gross! Today I removed a radiator, rubbed it down, sprayed it, put it back on, bleed it and balanced it, all in two hours and had enough time to put one coat of paint on the walls.

    no, but some bloke from british gas came round to give me a quote for £580
