It's probably a betting scam, same thing happened with Benetez a few weeks ago.
Start a rumour of leaving, odds of staying better, put money on staying. Scoop money when confirmed staying.

Harry won't go. Spurs have got rid of one or two idiots from their board who engineered the Jol/Ramos debacle.
One of them has even been dropped by The Apprentice. How can you have any credibility interviewing someone when you have right royally f***ed up two Premiership football clubs (Spurs and Newcastle) with your appointments?

Oh, I agree. However, I'd rule nothing out down there. Martin Jol gave them their best league finish since the Premiership started. Then he was sacked.Originally posted by swamp View PostUnless he shagged the chairman's wife, Redknapp is going nowhere!
Much is made of football managers when in fact many outcomes are unchangeable. But Harry Redknapp actually did rescue Spurs from relegation, and has since seen them make their best start in 40 years.

Harry likes players on big money, quite apart from their transfer fees. Portsmouth are still suffering the Harry effect.
Perhaps he wants to target another expensive player in January, the club has said no, Harry's got the hump, and some whistleblower has done 2+2=5Last edited by Doggy Styles; 3 October 2009, 08:54.
