Surely this is another sign of Brown's incompetence? He could call an election now, when things are going well. Instead of which he's going to hang on to the bitter death, and by next May there's bound to be a new crisis. All seems pretty rosey with Brown at the helm. Bankers are even taking big bonuses again and lots of mergers and acquisitions picking up.
Looks like the UK is in a very safe pair of hands. I just wish Brown would call the election now so we can give him our vote of confidence.
