Delurk and maiden rant

Made the mistake of staying with the client longer than 2 years. Went permie to handle the "Knowledge Transfer" to Bangalore and have spent the last 4 months in a hotel room. Likely to be back on the bench in a few weeks.
I need a drink.
Am I in the right place?
