One of my favourite wedding presents was a large wine rack for our cellar.

Also someone else got us a load of wine from a French Vineyard which will mature over the years (so we're gong to have a bottle each year on our anniversary).

It's got to be a Dualit toaster, they last for ages (often longer than a marriage) and prove the addage that the poor man pays twice.

I bought recently a Bodum coffee maker, some cappucino cups and some specially ground beans. They really liked them as most people drink coffee. No need to spend the earth but also nice to get something useful.

PS if it has to be more expensive a Red Letter day such as a hot air balloon ride is also nice!

Are you in any way "arty" if you can make a gift that is personal to them, it will beat a shop brought any time - more so if they buy any shop brought thing as they desire it
