I've got a Mitsubishi Trojan Crew Cab - the classic shape one with bonnet scoop.

I don't get intimidated by other motorists in the slightest....

    a) That's not "standing up" to them
    b) You can't do that on the motorway
    c) I'm not just talking about tailgaters

I was in heavy traffic in lane 3 - arguably I shouldn't have been there, as there was space to my left but I wasn't alone and I wasn't dawdling; but I was just about to pass a car in the centre lane when a geezer who looked like a recruitment agent in a highly polished Bastra pulled out from about three cars back, stamped it up the inside and cut into a gap that wasn't really there in front of me. At the time I was accelerating (because traffic ahead was), so the gap was narrowing - he evidently took exception to this and brake tested me pretty heavily. Once we got the other side of the lane two traffic, he didn't move over of course. I could quite easily have done the exact same move on him - which would arguably have been "standing up to him" - but I didn't because I'd rather actually get to work. So, as often happens, I have to put up with his tulip

I was just bitter as an Audi driver who got cut up by loads of BMW drivers on the M1 and M25 today

I'll defend Audi drivers by saying it's the A3's that are the chav reps, and the 'live with mum' types in the TT's

WHS. Used to drive mine around the city and west end and put the tulips up the flash gits who though they owned the road.

It's amazing how quickly their attitude changes when they do the sums invoving their pride and joy and 2 ton of Landy witha 6ft steel girder strapped to it for a front bumper

Mind you, I always got out of the way of the busses. They take no prisoners and they were bigger than me
