A video review of each game with 10 match bans, £500,000 fine for the offending player and £5,000,000 fine for the club for each offence would stop it. Season long bans for abusing the officials too.

What centurian said (although I would miss the comedy replays of 'fouls')

Part of the problem is that referees have been told that they can only punish diving if they are absolutely sure the player has cheated - something that is very, very difficult in the heat of the moment. It seems easier to convict someone of murder than to show that someone has dived.
Get referees hand out a yellow card everyone someone goes down easy - (even if there is contact) and you'll soon see strikers suddenly able to stay on two feet...

Its difficult to win a match when played 12 Vs 11 also the if the 12th man can decide to give or deny penalties...!! Shame to the game...!!
Its bit ironic that ManU is the club got maximum number of penalties in Premier League last 4 years...No wonder..!!
