I hate "going forward" "one to one" and the fact that everything is "grab" - grab lunch grab a coffee etc etc

Has to be the phrase: -

    "going forward"

Especially when employed as a conclusion to any debate where the speaker assumes that no come-back is a) necessary, or b) possible.

    e.g:-

The project is a disaster and you are all screwed, and sacked, except for me, and I will ensure the project works out for the best, GOING FORWARD.

People who say "Going Forward" should have a broom handle inserted into their fundament and waved aloft - preferably aflame.

One of the tech architects at my current gig loves "Instantiated", in context it is obvious what he means, but "built" would have been a lot easier and as applicable.

    Yes. No doubt about that.

I remember in the mid 1980s when I was a lowly spod, that management consultants (e.g. Kearney) oozed their filthy way into my organization and began using phrases like "blue sky thinking" and "pushing the envelope".

The only "envelope" I wanted to push, was my tightly-rolled, and unlubricated resignation letter, forcefully up the sphincter of Kearney's 'principal consultant'.

Fortunately they tired of the battle and withrew, licking their wounds and salving their conciences with about £2M. Bastard tulips!

It may have been accurate if the guy was a AutoBot.
