DS2 turns 8 tomorrow so a day of pretty much whatever he wants to do. Then on Sunday we're having Scalextric party for him and around a dozen friends at a local 6 lane circuit. I'm probably more excited about that than he is

That's now turned into my parents wanting to meet gf chef, inviting themselves over from Fri-Mon ("such a good hotel weekend deal") and suggesting we goto the Tate in Liverpool Sat morning and as a "treat" (FFS am I 10 years old??) have booked us into Open Air Theatre on Saturday in the park !!! hasn't it been raining on a biblical scale recently??

As for "big pudgy fingers", nope I have big hands and long fingers. I currently use a Nokia E71 without any problems.

I got a samsung i8910HD recently and I LOVE it - 8 megapixal camera and a fab touchscreen querty keyboard.
I already have an ipod touch - so figured an iphone would be over egging the pudding.

The Bold only has 2mp, but the screen is superb. For any serious photography I wouldn't be using my phone anyway.

Just about to check the inland waters forecast for a weekend's diving in St Abb's (which didn't look good yesterday... ), but then off for a weeks diving/walking/reading book in a pub in East Scotland.
Which may include a day trip to Edinburgh if the diving's off.

Meeting an old mate for drinks tonight, then chilling with the family for the rest of the weekend after a hectic time last weekend at Camp Bestival (including a 9hr drive from Dorset to Northumberland ).
