Yes it's been refined to suit our palate, we like fatty sauce, lots of meat and big crisps.Originally posted by chetty View PostWhen I came to Britain I was surprised how much you Britishers like Indian food. They must bloody old then, given the Germans had perfected the sn_orkel tube that allows the diesels to run underwater somewhere around the 1944 mark....It will be able to stay under water for long periods and thereby increase its chances of remaining undetected.
By contrast, India's ageing conventional diesel-powered submarines need to constantly surface to recharge their batteries
Not that the BBC could be talking out of its arrrse, surely not.
wow, can't write sn_orkel. Because it has the work n_ork.

Did you also know that the food in the Chinese restaurants is nothing like what they eat in China?
Hmm, tricky one that. Have you considered learning to cook?Originally posted by chetty View PostI cannot get my idli fry before I go to work like I can at home

Easy solution.Originally posted by minestrone View PostCould you imagine staying in an air tight container with 150 indians eating curry all day?
In my last bank I had to sit near the microwave, the place seriously honked of curry from 12 till 3 each day.
Sabotage the Microwave.
And make sure the insides are full of dried out old curry skid marks, so they get the blame!

Also, time moves quicker in India. Only last week I was looking at the CV of an Indian chap who'd managed to acquire "4 years advanced experience of SQL Server 2008", it's quite remarkable

Although it has to be said, we in the UK don't lack agents or recruiters who believe these types of cvs in preference to home-grown "plodders"
