I could do that in hell on contract, if you are getting unjustified grief, grow a pair and bite back, you will fell better about it. You should feel the freedom to tell a few home truths as far up the ladder as you can reach. A contractor chap at a gig I was on years ago didn't get extended, he worked on for another three months unpaid. Client didn't care, the rest of us didn't care. This was in a time when you could pick and choose your contract, go figure...
