    Sidney was good, shared a flat just North of Bondi then moved to Turramurra or Stuffed Paratah or something like that, it was a long time ago. Seemed to be remarkably few women but they all had enormous knockers to make up for it. Lots of broken glass, Australia is justifiably famous for its huge quantities of broken glass. It's probably gone downhill since I left.

    Exactly, I used to live in Coogie and contracted in the CBD. Great life.

    I've spent a winter in Sydney. I think it rained for about 3 months. Summer was good though. There's not many cities in the world where you can live 30 seconds from a world class beach and a 20 minute bus ride from the centre of town. Or get a ferry to work.

    The locals are great, about as close to us in temperament as another country can get. With a few improvements imo.

    Yes, and they're usually much worse than what you'd get here (But still decent by local standards). Almost dollar for pound. Mind you that was a while ago, may have changed since then ...

    You'll pay more in tax but the quality of life is unbelievably good).
