I'd imagine that given the anatomy / physiology of the human form, peanut-smuggling tends to occur on stimulation, either through cold or possibly physical stimulus.

Why do they do this ?
Why do women 'nip up'
I used to think it was when they were cold, or when they were randy. But at lunch today, in Altrincham, I saw three nice birds, all nipped up, one of them a total peanut smuggler.
It wasn't cold and I am sure it wasnt the sight of me that got them going
