That's an interesting question.

I'd imagine that given the anatomy / physiology of the human form, peanut-smuggling tends to occur on stimulation, either through cold or possibly physical stimulus.

You get goose bumps when you are cold and nips are just modified sebaceous grands I think.

But goose bumps ("pimples" sounds a bit quaint these days) are more to do with hair follicles.

Maybe in the stone age women evolved to nip up so their animal skin wouldn't slide off so easily in the cold.
