Flu kills people. THIS IS NOT NEWS.

So in answer to my question, the fact it has the word "flu" in the name makes you thinking it is nothing to worry about? That's just plain dumb. You even admit some strains are more dangerous... and apart from anything else even normal flu is a big deal if a proper epidemic happens. It's a pain for an office when a normal flu season knocks people out, it would cripple many businesses if many more people are affected at the same time than normal.Originally posted by PM-Junkie View Post...or maybe people are just getting wise to the fact that they are being manipulated. Flu kills people EVERY YEAR. Some strains kill more people than other strains. Some strains are more virulent than others.

All I asked was people to think about this and compare it to normal flu which does not kill young healthy children and does not occur in great numbers this time of year.

Don't worry your small brain about it, it doesn't have the capacity.
Next you'll be posting global warming projections from some other scientists, eh?

If everything in the world was going swimmingly, I suspect you would just turn up your toes because you'd have nothing to moan about or forcast a doom-ridden future about.
Maybe piggy flu can mutate so that it removes the hard of thinking from the gene pool. What a result that would be.

Well, I've got very mild flu symptoms today. Took a couple of paracetamol yesterday after feeling rough with a bit of sneezing and a bad throat for the past two days. According to HMG, only 30% of the population will catch swineflu. That seems a great underestimation to me.

How many healthy young people die of normal flu?
Wake up. This is serious. You'll realise it in a few months, if you are still alive.
