Apparently J R R Tolkein used to drive through the New Forest between Oxford and his holiday house in Poole, and when driving through it myself I sometimes wonder if some of the place names in LoTR weren't adapted from New Forest villages, such as Holmsley which is signposted on the A35 near a deep dip in the road ("Helms Deep").

sounds feasible, even likely. He got Mt Doom wrong though. The festering ash-strewn wasteland, devoid of life clean air and anything decent to drink, is actually called Bootle.

The trick with these quizzes, I learned last time, is to make them un-googlable.
So google your target, then dont use any key words that appear on page 1.
