Got there at about 09:45 and there was already a big queue, but we were inside by about 10:45, so not a big deal. Was a bit disappointed to find that I'd seen practically the whole Banksy exhibition already, in photos in the original media coverage. I thought the papers would just have shown a few highlights and left plenty of surprises, but what they showed was basically it.

There were a few other things planted around the museum, including eviction notices stuck to the old Gypsy caravan which has been in the museum for decades.

    Quite good.

Theres a Moon over Bourbon Street tonight

I see faces as they pass beneath the pale lamplight
Ive no choice but to follow that call

The bright lights, the people, and the Moon and all
I pray everyday to be strong

For I know what I do must be wrong
Oh youll never see my shade or hear the sound of my feet

While theres a Moon over bourbon street

It was many years ago that I became what I am
I was trapped in this life like an innocent lamb

Now I can only show my face at noon
And youll only see me walking by the light of the Moon

I have stood many times outside her window at night
To struggle with my instinct in the pale Moon Light

How could I be this way when I pray to God above
I must love what I destroy and destroy the thing I love

Oh youll never see my shade or hear the sound of my feet

While theres a Moon over Bourbon Street

Thanks man, I appreciate it. Ambition of a lifetime etc ... I went to New Orleans a few years ago on holiday and took my sax with me then. Sitting on a balcony overlooking Bourbon St playing as dawn was coming up. Amazing feeling.

Alto sax but taking my tenor with me in case I get to jam.

Hoping to get OH to become confident on motorway driving - joining with short ramps and also esp around the busy M25 - M4 area (southbound 6 lanes, having to cross 3 lanes to exit at T5, northbound also 6 lanes making sure you are in right hand 3 lane when it splits for the M4 otherwise not heading home in right direction anymore).

If I succeed I don't have to be a taxi driver all the time anymore!

Except the F1 is at the Nurburgring (which means Hockenheim might be quieter and more preferable!) I stopped off at the Nurburging on the way home a couple of weeks ago and it was one massive building site. New hotels, a new arena and a rollercoaster (fastest in the world apparently) right next to the stands.

I was looking for a bike and found an absolute bargain, 55€, 18 gear mountain bike, not exactly lightweight but the roads are so flat around here that it doesn't matter..

spent some time around scwabing last night, I think she'll be hitting the shops and coffee shops right now while im at work so thats covered
Was it you who was looking for a bike in Munich and said they were expensive? There is a bike shop at the city end of Schwabing that builds their own light weight city bikes and they were reasonably priced last time I was there.

Jazz at the bier garden is a great way to spend the day. There is also a superb restaurant and micro brewer at (near) the U-Bahn station.

Bier gardens: Try the Steckerl Fisch (sp? again) but only if it is done over charcoal and fresh.

I wish I could guive you directions to a favourite eatery on the lake. It is the far side from the village and hard to describe the route.

Jazz garden at Grosseselhoe (spl?) is great if there is a band on.
Hirsch garden is good but a bit of a guilt trip if eating hirsch.
Why not take her out in Schwabing, some great places to eat there.
