Personally I think TV has never been better, the arrival of huge choice and the ability to schedule it when I want means I never watch crap.

When I have something better to do I do it. When I havent there is TV.
TV does not rule my life.

That's like saying the printing press was a waste, it depends on what books you read (or TV programs you watch).
