Previously on "Newcastle's new strip - funny even if you don't like football"
Why would The Toon need an away kit?
I thought the away kit was to distinguish two teams apart when there was a clash of home kit i.e Manure v Liverpool or Chelski v Everton.
Will Newcastle meet anybody this year who might be mistaken for their usual barcodes?
Silly me <slaps forhead> 2 kits doubles the income from replica sales, d'oh <slaps forhead again> the Geordies dont wear shirts and even if they did they would not be seen dead in that get up.
You're forgetting that each shirt design has to be in use for a few years not just one season. So, this strip could be in anticipation of those away games at Port Vale.
hehehe...I have to pass this on, not knowing anything about kissball:
Colleague just said "no need for Newcastle to bother about a new strip; it's easy to distinguish Newcastle from the other team because the other team are the ones with the ball and scoring the goals".
