No, it is a ruse to try and get the job on the FTV schem or to bring in an ICT.

They advertise at a low rate and get no applications. They then go to the authorities with proof that there is no local with the requisit skills. Then they get permission to bring in an import at that rate.

Simples.

They did that when they ousted us from BT - a guy I worked with used to tool whichis very rare. They advertised his job at a rate of 140 a day and he applied and said he would work for the rate but they refused and said he couldn't. It's all a scam to get the FTV's in

Business Analyst required for a 6 months contract based in Manchester to work for a high profile public sector client.
