Two years ago Mrs Numpty bought a sweat shirt. It says:
Some mornings I wake up grumpy.
But usually I just let him sleep.

We have a load of birds that sit in the tree outside our house and tulip on my car. I don't notice any on the road when the car is not there, only ever on the car. lately it looks like somebody has been squeezing them to ensure the max tulipload gets dumped (literally) onto my car. When I find the bird I'm going to nail it to a plank and tulip on it.

I have three large trees in front of my house, two of which have grown to form a natural arch over the drive, and two large trees behind the house. These trees form a veritable concert hall for the splendid symphony of birdsong that is the dawn chorus. The finest and most enjoyable alarm clock in the world, its only minor drawback is the huge pile of birdtulip to be found on the car in the morning.
