I have to put up with a load of ducks and geese most mornings, which then sets the dogs barking, this then wakes the kids up......bloody summer mornings - role on the winter mornings......
This is the grumpy old man thread. Get orf our land.
When my son was little he obviously didn't get the whole day night thing for a long time due to his blindness. His gran told him that he should only get up when he hears the birds. Fine in the winter but in the summer we were woken by him at 4:30 too many time.
We have a load of birds that sit in the tree outside our house and sh1t on my car. I don't notice any on the road when the car is not there, only ever on the car. lately it looks like somebody has been squeezing them to ensure the max sh1tload gets dumped (literally) onto my car. When I find the bird I'm going to nail it to a plank and sh1t on it.
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.
Didn't get to sleep until 1am this morning (working on a bit of code) and really, really p'd off at it. Forgotten that I'd set the MSE algorithm to run over night came down this morning and the thing was *still* running.
Sat (sorry, stood) on train this morning to clientco, muttering to self.
Yeah, happens to me all the time, I left the MSE algorithm running just the other day - you can imagine my surprise when I got home...
You can lead a fool to wisdom but you can't make him think.

I think that'd be one of the good things about being able to fly - crapping on pigeons.
