    I still have temptations to overlap my business into recruitment at some point. Although I'd probably specialise, I figure having people with a development background (and some scruples) in recruitment could set me aside from the herd.

    Say 10% on bench: 1,260,000 in post.

    Say average £250/day: turnover £315 million per day.

    Average agent take, off the top: 15%. Agent take = .15/.85 * 315m = £55.85 million per day.

    No wonder they are attracted to IT like flies to a pile of tulip.
