He's claimed one of his lackeys put the donation in for him when he was on holiday. And then he submitted the claim 'by accident'. So two of them are greedy and grasping, not just one.

I find his excuse that it was a mistake more worrying than his initial claim.
If he just admitted that he was a robbing git straight off then I would have more respect for him, the "I'm pissing down your back and telling you it is raining" routine just shows how fa r removed he is from the population he thinks he represents.

I don't mind that one, if it was a service he was attending officially as an MP rather than as personal recreation. It's only like adding a tip to a company restaurant bill.
