    A schoolmates dad had one of those and it was very nice too.. The dad must have been fairly rich as he (the schoolmate) was insured to drive it.

    Not quite in the same league but my Dad once had a Wolseley. Leather sets, walnut dash, door trims and seat back tables. It smelled lovely.

    I remember the Panther 6! Rumour has it they actually made one!

    The Daimler in the Mk2 looky-likey shell was a 2.5 V8. The other 60s Daimler V8 was the Majestic Major with a 4.5. After that Daimlers simply became retrimmed Jaguars and shared the same powertrain.
