    Staff costs = cost of 'employing' sister, brother, mother etc at very high wages and the public at minimum cost. It seems that many were doing a 'Derek Conway' and there will have to be many more resignations.

    Not difficult at all really. Those numbers were on the beeb and I thought I had posted them before - a certainly posted the dim prawn ones. If you think that there are 654 MP's then if they all claimed 100k that's 65,400,000.

    To hit 92m they need to claim an average of 140672. In most cases their biggest costs were staff costs, typically at the 90k mark. Add in a 24k 2nd home and say 5k on travel and you are pretty much there. This doesn't include their 60k+ salary
