I think he meant one really hairy shoulder is good at counting. Why the shoulder's hairiness is relevant to its main talent for arithmetic I have no idea, except to make the proposition more unbelievable/weird and to add some visualisation, which to be honest I think we could have done without. Especially if it's just the old cupped hand in shoulder and pump type of counting?
