Oh yes!

Masses of Anemometry and Turbine sensor/operational data has to be gathered realtime, monitored and acted upon.

Might be worth looking into.

Er!

I work in Offshore renewable energy.

and it's diving and marine civil engineering. I'm also a demolition expert and a qualified marine engineer (mech & elec)
