Why don't you **** off out of switzerland then? MoronOriginally posted by minestrone View PostIran is a bit of a tulip hole but undoubtedly treats it's citizens fairer than Burma, Vietnam, China, Cuba.
I will put money on that they do not fine people for putting the bins out a day early.
We are told to hate Iran and that is why many do so.

Yes, they hang 15 year-old homosexuals. That's pretty fair.

You mean "a Palestinian"? Israeli Arabs have exactly the same rights and privileges as Israeli Jews.Originally posted by Pickle2 View Post...Maybe some of those ambasadors should try living as an Israeli arab for a few weeks.

For the hard of thinking. It's not about victims.
While recognising that the Israeli secret service, police and army are not averse to a little physical persuasion, quite happy to assassinate terrorists, and don't care particularly about collateral damage; the only country that you'd recognise as free if you lived there, in the Middle East, is Israel (edit - maybe Lebanon). Arabs and Palestinians with Israeli citizenship have exactly the same rights as Jewish citizens. This is why it's inaccurate to compare with Apartheid.
Iran routinely uses torture and murder against non-muslims, homosexuals, and indeed people who want to change the status quo.
Egypt and Lebanon are probably the next most free, but still pretty much police states. Jordan, Syria - safer not to be against the status-quo.

And do you think Iran is the country to point it out to everyone?
