I have some savings and some Dutch government bonds; I think I'm going to give up on the pension scheme; most pension firms take enormous margins here in NL and the performance is tulipe. One exception is PGGM; the Dutch healthcare pension fund (a mutual that doesn't have to produce 'shareholder value'), which is one of the best in Europe. Unfortunately it's only open to people working in Dutch healthcare, but luckily Mrs Tester does precisely that; so what I do is give her the money to make large extra contributions. I just have to trust her and make sure we stick together.
