I know a young man who is going through the transition, and his life since his teens has been wretched to say the least.

After 5 years of shrinks, taking Hormone Replacment Therapy, living as his new gender in private, and gradually facing the fear and ridicule of others, he has now got a job in his chosen industry.

Unfortunately, his several of his peers are radical evangelists, and he has had to put his whole gender reassignement on hold.

I really cannot imagine how he must feel.
