    It was my first job after education, back in 1990. Jobs were scarce at the time. I spent six years there eventually moved into the IT side and transitioned to EDS in 95. Spent about 4 years on the tax side, but dull is not the word!

    I've just got back in touch with an old friend I've not seen in 13 or 14 years (since school) on Facebook.

    Not 5 mins ago, he's just posted a message to me saying he's being working as a software dev for HMRC for the last 10 years in Newcastle.

    He knows i'm in IT, think I'll just say I'm a permy somewhere juuuuust in case
