It was my first job after education, back in 1990. Jobs were scarce at the time. I spent six years there eventually moved into the IT side and transitioned to EDS in 95. Spent about 4 years on the tax side, but dull is not the word!Originally posted by BrilloPad View PostWhy did you give it up?

You know someone who works for HMRC. Isn't that an bannable offence?Originally posted by jmo21 View PostI've just got back in touch with an old friend I've not seen in 13 or 14 years (since school) on Facebook.
Not 5 mins ago, he's just posted a message to me saying he's being working as a software dev for HRMC for the last 10 years in Newcastle.
He knows i'm in IT, think I'll just say I'm a permy somewhere juuuuust in case

Ask him if there are any jobs on the internal market for "recommend a friend". Based at Southend if possible.

Find out where he lives. Find out if he can get hold of the program that determines criteria for a tax investigation. *Then* kill him
