My turn for a Boomed post
Just signed a new contract for a Flex role, 100% remote work with a US client (great with QE now looking more likely), 20% more than existing work.
This one's a standard contracting role apart from the telecommute part, doesn't preclude the other project I'm providing a team for (with margins on each person) and a 3rd project I'm bidding on where I will subcontract the development and take a 100% margin (my proposed rate seemed to go down OK).
I can see some very long days what with managing two projects and a full-time contract, but I need to build up the war-chest in case the UK/world totally collapses later in the year - and besides I'm not afraid of hard work... if I'm paid by the hour
