Being the gluttonous contractor that I am, I was looking for the web site to Heston's Fat Duck, and mistakenly tried fatduck.com. Be careful with this - clientco's proxy told me I was looking for p0rn

So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell,
    blue skies from pain.
Can you tell a green field from a cold steel rail?
    A smile from a veil?
Do you think you can tell?
    ....

Paul did mention homosexual acts. Most Christians follow the NT, or at least they follow an interpretation of it. Rather than the above

But d000hg is correct when he says that to understand Christianity, you have to have knowledge of the old testament. The NT needs the context of the OT. Jesus and Paul were always referring back to it.

Jesus is a Jew... well his mother was, so that makes him one.

The first Christians were all Jews. But Gentiles were included very soon after pentecost.

The council of Jerusalem was where it was decided that gentile Christians didn't have to keep to the dietary laws or be circumcised. Just to not eat animals that had been strangled, or eat/drink blood and to refrain from fornication.
