About 2 calls a day here - haven't touched the CV since it was activated on Monster/CW last September. Not really looking either. Mostly short contracts though.

WHS, although I have had one call, one email and two text messages from different pimps this morning.Originally posted by SantaClaus View PostIts just agents fishing for information.
More phone calls != market picking up.
More phone calls = more desperate agents with no leads

Completed my UK SAP landscape migration last night.
Been rewarded this morning with a two month break after current project closes, and a 1 year contract starting May to run the European wide project.

Could things be picking up out there?

There's a few jobs around at the moment. Last 6 months of last year were like the grave. So maybe there is a bit of life in the market, but not a huge amount I'd say.

I'm Dev, a few mates are still in contracts that started last year but everyone who has come out of work post Sept is now benched. I don't see any evidence of Projects in pre Dev phases except a few gov and council stuff that are few and far between in my game.Originally posted by robbie274 View PostMaybe it depends on the role. PM's and BA's would be needed before Dev's (me) so at the moment my regular searches are coming back empty (or with old jobs).
What role are you looking for Cyberman and rootsnall?

No pick up (yet?)
Things are very quiet. Been benched since New Year. MOSS / .Net market is very slow. Very few real jobs.

Not picking up yet, but give it 5 to 10 years and we should see some evidence of a return to normal.Originally posted by PM-Junkie View Post...three phone calls for different PM gigs already this morning, and I'm not even looking.

Deader than dead from where I'm sitting. There hasn't been a job to apply for 2 weeks and the phone is deathly quiet. April !?

Phoned an agency this morning who were pretty gloomy and also searched on Jobserve which returned less than a full page of jobs. Things are not looking good at all.
