    The Firm!!!!! eekeek

You have got to be kidding!!!

Although to be fair that reaction is based almost exclusively on the Lead role......... Tom Cruise is just SO WRONG...... but thats true of most things he is in! esp A Few Good Men

I HATE the films, but know that I'll watch the rest of them when they come out.

I wouldn't get on it; I don't have a specialist subject. Unless I could have Things That Have Come Out of my Bottom, 1985-

However, from the Beeb web site:

    NOTABLE SPECIALIST SUBJECTS
History and Genealogy of European Royalty
The Life and Works of Gilbert & Sullivan
The Moomin saga by Tove Jansson
The History of Lancashire County Cricket Club
The Life-cycle and Habits of the Honey-bee
    The Buddhist sage Niciren

    NOTABLE REJECTED SPECIALIST SUBJECTS
Routes to Anywhere in Mainland Britain by Road from Letchworth
Cremation Practice and Law in Britain
    The Banana Industry
Orthopaedic Bone Cement in Total Hip Replacement
    Perfect Squares from 99x99 = 9801

The books are far better than the films. But the books are mediocre.

Round 1 - The Discworld of Terry Pratchett - only apparently that's a disallowed subject now.
Round 2 - Books of Larry Niven
Round 3 - Books of Isaac Asimov

My subject would probably be football related, possibly the history of FA Cup finals, or the England team.

Or possibly kings and queens of England.
