5 minutes watching any American standup comic, and I find myself appreciating every British comedian so much more: the only exception to this being Reginald D. Hunter (who appears quite often on HIGNFY).

Does anyone else think it's unfortunate for Jimmy Carr as a comedian to have the world's stupidest laugh?
JLC I quite like, in his more serious programs only though.

Justin Lee Collins is worse than Alan Carr and I hate Alan Carr. That makes that program the two do together unbearable.

Jimmy Carr had to sue Jim Davidson for stealings his jokes. Mind you, if you have jokes that Jim Davidson can steal it might be time to think of some new material. To be fair to Jimmy the jokes were tongue in cheek sexism which Mr Davidson was able to re-appropriate at face value. One thing you can say about Jim Davidson is he's not a man troubled by dupplicity of meaningLast edited by Bagpuss; 26 January 2009, 12:03.

I think I'm one of the few people in the world who didn't find Douglas Adams remotely funny. Just a nerd and a bore.

I wonder what the going rate for a freelance joke designer would be.
