And that's probably why he gets unfeasibly high ratings when he and Cameron are compared in polls.Originally posted by d000hg View PostI think Gordon looks a lot more like a PM than Cameron... Cameron looks like the kind of PM you get in films like Love Actually.

Is Pickles a dog or cat?Originally posted by Solidec View PostNew conservative shadow cabinet announced.
Some very good moves by most tory blogsite accounts.
Chris Grayling to Shadow Home Secretary (he was rather good on Questiontime last week)
Grieve to Justice, seems apt as he is a rather clever QC type
KC we know about
Pickles to party charimen
This cabinet looks like it would not be out of place in government now, so i think we have the beginings of an election warmachine about to start rolling.
Shame El Gordo is gonna bottle and wait till 2010 now.

But this is desperation. I remember Clarke sharing a stage with Brown, Blair and Ashdown at around the time the euro was launched, announcing the UK plans to join, and the funding for UK tills and systems to change over. All jolly handshakes and answering planted questions from an audience of enthusiastic europhiles as if changeover were a done deal.
Such a fundamental difference between him and tory party policy could come back and bite them on the bum.
