Who was that poncey kid who appeared on Wogan in the 80's? Blonde afro, looked like his face had melted a bit. He was supposed to be some sort of genius, but as far as I could tell, his genius extended to running an antiques business with his dad, which was later involved in some sort of fraud.
He went on to have a sex change, and Belle and Sebastian wrote a song "Lord Anthony" based loosely around him.

But I remember an interview with Ruth when she was early twenties. Her father insisted on sitting in with her! She was asked if her succees was worth the sacrifice and she descibed the question as "not sufficiently well posed" to be able to answer.
