So I read it as "She was only 10 (and I'd only just started...)" which seemed a little strange.

It started so well

I promised myself that I'd be serious and professional. And I was for the first day.

Then I had a cold and forgot (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it..)

Called the Manager 'Dear' on the 2nd day. Tried to ignore said cold on 3rd day, only to admit that I felt "as rough as a badger's @rse" - a phrase that I might have introduced into ClientCo.

At least I didn't get drunk on whisky with the boss* and not turn up the following day, so I'm up on previous contracts after the 1st week...

*boss was a Hartlepool lass with hollow legs - how was I to know?
