But there is an incident of an Israeli F15 that had a wing ripped of in flight that is real. Unfortunately no one filmed it. But there is a vid where they have a good go at talking about it. With some pictures of it back on the tarmac afterwards.

Assuming it's real (I have my doubts) it's an astonishing piece of skilled flying by an incredibly lucky pilot.
